US and South Korea case studies


20 Mar 2020:  Coronavirus-related deaths surged past 10,000 globally. The number of cases in Germany rose by 2,958 overnight to 13,957. Spain death toll has risen to 1,002. In China no new domestic cases reported for a second consecutive day; however there are concerns about infected people flying into the country and importing a second wave of the disease.

Two months ago, around January 20, the US and South Korea each reported their first confirmed cases. South Korean leaders responded quickly and effectively while the US, well, not so much.

I spent the most of the day reading news and fact checking. Only 24 blog views so far. It helps me cope, so I'll continue. Also, some day maybe grandchildren can use it to supplement Wikipedia for a school project. LOL
